uniPAY Bank Interface Host processes banking transactions (credit, debit) routed by the uniPAY Transaction Soft-Switch and based on business rules set in the Host forwards them to the relevant bank for customer authentication and transaction authorization. The business rules can be set based on Bank Identification Number (BIN) for on-us/off-us, geography, time, value and other parameters. While forwarding the transactions to the bank the Host also transcodes the transactions into the protocol required by the bank. The uniPAY Bank Interface Host also manages the terminal configurations as configured by the bank for the merchant. The Host also carries out batch closure for all the transactions in a manual or auto-mode. The settlement can be done across all outlets or store/geography-wise.
